Welcome. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to coaching services provided by Colleen English (“I”, “me”, “my”). By booking or paying for coaching sessions, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Provider & Services
  • Provider: Colleen English, operating as an independent coach based in Sydney, Australia.
  • Services: One‑on‑one coaching sessions focused on grief, death planning, caregiver support, and related personal development topics. Sessions are delivered online unless otherwise agreed.
2. Eligibility
  • Coaching services are available to individuals aged 18 and over.
  • By engaging in services, you confirm you are legally able to enter into this agreement.
3. Coaching Is Not Therapy
  • Coaching is not therapy, counselling, or medical/mental‑health treatment.
  • I am not a therapist, psychologist, or medical provider.
  • If you require therapeutic, medical, or legal support, you are responsible for seeking appropriately licensed professionals. Coaching does not replace professional care.
4. Fees & Payment Terms
  • Rate: $65 USD per session.
  • Package: A minimum commitment of 3 months, with 2 sessions per month (6 sessions total).
  • Billing: $130 USD is charged monthly via Stripe, covering two sessions per month, for a minimum of three months.
  • Cancellation of recurring billing: You may cancel future billing at any time, but you agree to pay for all months up to the 3‑month minimum. After the minimum term, you may cancel recurring billing at any time.
  • Payment method: Payments are processed through Stripe. You are responsible for keeping your payment details up to date.
  • Failed payments: If a payment fails, you have 5 days to update your payment method. Sessions may be paused until payment is received.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
  • Rescheduling: You may reschedule a session at no cost up to the scheduled start time of that session.
  • No‑shows / late cancellations: If you do not attend a scheduled session (“no‑show”) or cancel after the session start time, a $20 USD rescheduling fee applies to book a new time. This fee is in addition to the session being counted as one of your two monthly sessions.
  • All cancellations and rescheduling requests must be made via email to coach@colleenenglish.com or through the agreed booking system.
6. Refunds
  • Coaching fees are non‑refundable once a session has occurred.
  • If I cancel or reschedule a session, you will receive a make‑up session or a credit toward future sessions; no cash refunds are provided unless required by law.
7. Client Responsibilities
  • You are responsible for being on time, prepared, and in a suitable environment for your session.
  • If you join late, the session will still end at the scheduled time.
  • You agree to engage respectfully. Disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate behavior may result in termination of services with no refund.
8. Confidentiality & Privacy
  • Information shared in coaching sessions is kept confidential to the fullest extent possible, except where I am required by law to disclose (e.g., risk of serious harm, child protection, court order).
  • I may use general, non‑identifying information for supervision, professional development, or business purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability
  • Coaching is a collaborative process and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of my services.
  • You acknowledge that you are responsible for your own decisions, actions, and results.
10. Intellectual Property
  • All materials I provide (worksheets, exercises, recordings, written content, etc.) are my intellectual property.
  • You may use these materials for your personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell them without my prior written consent.
11. Changes to These Terms
  • I may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on my website with an updated “Last Updated” date.
  • Continued use of my services after changes signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
  • These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
  • Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved through good‑faith discussion. If that fails, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
