Hello, I’m Colleen English, a trauma-informed certified coach (TICC) and trauma-informed group coach (TIGC). I support parents who are caregiving for children with rare diseases or complex medical needs, especially when life feels like too much, too often.

After fifteen years supporting caregivers’ practical needs in the nonprofit sector—and my own years as a caregiver to my daughter who lived with Rett Syndrome—I experienced firsthand how overwhelming it can be to juggle medical care, everyday life, and grief. Working with a life coach helped me find a bit of solid ground and a sense of agency in the middle of that chaos, and that is what drew me into trauma-informed coaching.

In my practice, there is no rush. This is slow, steady work. Sessions are a calm space where you can arrive exactly as you are, without having to perform or be “okay.” Together, we use gentle grounding, honest conversation, and forward-focused exploration to clarify what truly matters to you and to shape small, doable steps that fit the reality of your life.

I work with people who have experienced trauma, but I am not a mental health provider. Our focus is on your present and future—how you want to respond to your circumstances now—while honoring the impact that trauma, grief, and ongoing stress can have on your body and nervous system.
